Trip Note: Trek the dirt trails of Sapa, Less Travelled
Sapa is a beautiful former French hill-station, at an altitude of 1,650m this town boasts warm days and cool evenings. Nowadays it is still a popular destination due to its beautiful scenery of the mountain and the valleys surrounding. Moreover, Sa Pa is the home to several Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects. Sapa is also renowned for its trekking. With Vietnam’s highest peak, Fansipan Mountain (3,143 meters) provides the perfect backdrop for some great treks. Special is Muong Hoa valley.

Itinerary:
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao cai
The trip starts from your hotel in Hanoi at 8: 00 PM, you take a short transfer to the railway station and go up the night train to Lao Cai City.
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin sharing cabin 4berths.
Day 1: Lao cai train – Sa Pa – Sa Seng – Hang Da – Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai (B/L)
Arrive Lao Cai you will meet your local tour guide then go up hill to Sapa enjoy breakfast at the local restaurant a short drive out of Sapa town to the walking path. Follow a small trail, that will take you up the hill for 2 hours to the Den Thang range. Reach the top to enjoy the great view of the Fansipan Peak and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley as the trek approaches Hang Da Village - the home of Hmong which is at 1,800m above sea level and overlooks the Muong Hoa Valley. Discover the village and then have a picnic lunch. After a short rest we will continue walking to Hau Thao village. You will see the stunning view of Muong Hoa valley. Arrive at Hau Thao Commune, you will have a chance to discover the daily life of the Black Hmong minority and their traditional customs and costume.Continue trekking down the hill to Giang Ta Chai village where you meet the car transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa – Love Waterfall – Golden Stream – Tram Ton Pass – O Quy Ho - Sin Chai Village - Lao cai – Hanoi (B/L):
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before having a 30 minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2,100 meters above sea level where great views are offered of the surrounding mountain and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek an hour through forest, along Golden Stream to the Love Waterfall. It is the best place for relax in Sapa. Then return Tram Ton for a short drive to O Quy Ho where you start to trek about 9km along the mountain trails to visit Sin Chai village, home to Black Hmong, pinic lunch will be served along the way. Being transferred back to Sapa in the late afternoon.
Late afternoon our van transfer you back to Lao cai train .

Arrive Hanoi next morning (around 05:30 in Hanoi).
