Highlight: Trek Fansipan Mountain – Sapa Homestay 

Duration : 4days-5nights


Itinerary:
 
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao cai
 
The trip starts from your hotel in Hanoi at 7: 00 PM, you take a short transfer to the railway station and hop up the night train to Lao Cai City.
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin.
 
Day 1: Lao cai train - Sa Pa – Trekking to Redzdao & H’mong Village ( B/L/):
 

Arrival Lao cai train , you will meet your local tour guide and driver who waiting you at the Exit gate of Lao cai train for pick you up then transfer up hill to Sapa town, Have breakfast at the local restaurant.
We leave Sa Pa town, trekking to Suoi Ho village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black Hmong minority people in Ma Tra. After passing a school and scenic views enroute, a picnic lunch will be served. After lunch we continue our trek to Ta Phin village to visit Red Dao people and handicraft shops. In the afternoon we will reach the road where your driver is waiting to transport you back to Sa Pa.

Day 2 : Discover Fansipan Mountain 3143 Metres (B/L/):
 

An early 6am pick up from your hotel in Sa Pa to visit Silver Waterfall, then drive the highest mountain pass in Viet Nam – Tram Ton Pass, 1,950 metres above sea level. Spend time enjoying the natural environment before starting the challenging trek to the peak. We walk through primitive rainforest and jungle, traversing many small streams and passing towering Yellow Bamboo forest systems. After approximately 6 hours you will be standing on the highest peak in Viet Nam, Mt. Fansipan, known as ‘the roof of Indochina’. Spend 1 hour at the summit to enjoy magnificent and inspiring views, to the northwest are small village areas and splendid rolling mountains belonging to Lai Chau province, to the northeast you will have a birds eye view of Sa Pa town which can only be seen from this vantage point. Have lunch before returning to Tram Ton Pass for transport to Sa Pa.

Day 3: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Tavan Village - Muong Hoa Valley “ Homestay”(B/L/D) :
 

Have breakfast at the hotel then get ready for trekking from Sapa to the Black H’mong village of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai where excellent panoramas of the larger valley, paddy terraced fields and the H’mong village are offered. We take a small local path leading into the bottom of the valley, where some stalls are available that serve tea and fruits; a perfect spot to take a rest and have lunch. After lunch you will visit the Zay people of Ta Van, which lies in the middle of the Muong Hoa valley.
 
There you will stay overnight in local houses - Homestay
 
Day 4: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Hau Thao – Sapa – Lao Cai Train – Hanoi (B/L):
 
Next morning after having breakfast, the trek continues towards the Red Dao village in Giang Ta Chai. On the way you will trek up and downhill then through bamboo forest. The village of Giang Ta Chai is the next stop, which we will reach by following a path over a bridge. Lunch will be provided near a waterfall, just before arrival at the village. Eventually, the trek returns to the hill of Hau Thao village. You will get back to Sapa town by car.
You can stroll around the little town of Sapa until the transfer back to Lao Cai station and take the train journey back to Hanoi.
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin. Arrive Hanoi next morning (around 05:30 in Hanoi).
