MAI CHAU FULLDAY PRIVATE TRIP

Mai Chau Valley is a rural district of Hoa Binh province in the northwestern region of Vietnam. The district is located at about 160 km from Ha Noi. The scenery of Mai Chau attracts many tourists. The Mai Chau area is well known for its stilt houses. The type of stilt houses, or pile dwellings, they construct are called Thai stilt houses and are made of bamboo and timber. These houses are elevated 10–12 feet off the ground in order to avoid water damage and shelter animals from the elements.

Itinerary:
 
8:00 AM : TOM Travel guide & driver Pick up from your hotel in center Hanoi and head west towards Hoa Binh to have a quick snack and breakfast
10:00 AM: Leave Hoa Binh for Mai Chau valley, about 2hrs away, stop for snapping pictures.
 
11:30 AM : Arrive in Mai Chau and have lunch in Mountain View Local Restaurant
 
1:30 PM: In the afternoon, cycle to explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Thia, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng Chau villages. Be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture. Take it all in: the spectacular scenery of Mai Chau and the relaxed rhythm of local life.
 

4:30 PM: Get on the car back to Hanoi
8:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, drop off at your hotel.
