Itinerary:
 
Night 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao cai
TOM Travel driver & staff will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi then transfer you go directly to the train station
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper sharing cabin 4berths.
 

Day 1 : Lao Cai train - Sa Pa – Love Waterfall – Cat Cat village (B/L) :

Arrive Lao Cai you will meet your local tour guide then drive uphill to Sa Pa. Check in to your hotel and enjoy breakfast at the local restaurant.

A 40 minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2047 meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam) where great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek 30 minutes through forest. Along the way you have many chances to see wild flowers. Trekking along the stream you will arrive the Love Waterfall . It is the best place for relax in Sa Pa then return Tram Ton and drive back to Sa Pa. In the afternoon you will visit Cat Cat cultural village, just 3kms from Sa Pa town. A leisurely walk through the old village offers an overview of the traditional customs and practices of the ethnic Black H'mong minority. Stop by a stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station, constructed by the French during the colonial era in Viet Nam. Follow a dirt trail snaking through the mountain and enjoy spectacular scenery while trekking along a narrow river until you reach Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H'mong minority. Take a rest by the Muong Hoa Stream before climbing toward the road where your driver is waiting to transport you back to Sa Pa.

Day 2 :Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai (B/L)
 

Depart from Sapa town by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Views of the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent surroundings of mountains and rice terrace fields can be seen from this road. Along the road, people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) are likely to be met, and there are stalls along the way that serve tea, fruits and sweets. Soon after turning off the main road and taking a local path, we will arrive in the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers.After that, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide in a local house. After lunch you trek up and downhill. Specially you will trek through bamboo forest then relax beside the waterfall. Explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai where you will also have the chance to see their daily activities. In the afternoon the car will pick you up for the return journey to Sa Pa.

Day 3 : Sa Pa – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Lao Cai – Ha Noi (B/L):
 

We leave Sa Pa town, trekking to Suoi Ho village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black Hmong minority people in Ma Tra. After passing a school and scenic views enroute, a picnic lunch will be served. After lunch we continue our trek to Ta Phin village to visit Red Dao people and handicraft shops. . Late afternoon our van transfer you back to Lao cai train , overnight on the train back to Hanoi.
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin, Arrive Hanoi next morning (around 05:30 in Hanoi).
 
Day 4 Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay (B/L/D):
 

Today your train will arrival Hanoi around 5:30 AM , TOM Travel staff and driver will waiting you at the station to pick you up then transfer to the hotel for freshen up and have breakfast before depart to Ha Long Bay.
 
08:15 - 08:30 Pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi then travel to Ha Long Bay
12h00 – 12h30 Embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30 Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30 Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area. Back to the V’Spirit Classic
16h30 – 17h30 Cruising to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30 Cruise back to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.
19h00 Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around.

Day 5 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L/):
 

06h30 - 07h00 Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
07h30 - 08h30 Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 - 09h30 Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave - the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30 Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 - 10h30 Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30 While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30 Disembark V’Spirit Classic & Transfer back to Hanoi.
Trip finishes at around 16h30 at your hotel.
