VNT-SPT 15: CONQUER FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN – VILLAGE TREK

Itinerary:
 
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao cai
 
The trip starts from your hotel in Hanoi at 7: 00 PM, you take a short transfer to the railway station and hop up the night train to Lao Cai City.
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin.
 
Day 1: Lao cai train - Sa Pa – Fansipan at 2800 metres ( B/L/D):
 

Arrival Lao cai train , you will meet your local tour guide and driver who waiting you at the Exit gate of Lao cai train for pick you up then transfer up hill to Sapa town, Have breakfast at the local restaurant , Departing Sa Pa at 8am our driver transports you to Tram Ton Pass to obtain permission to climb the Mountain. From Tram Ton Pass we will start our climb at 1950 metres above sea level. After four hours of trekking we will stop for lunch beside a small peaceful stream. In the afternoon we continue our climb to the altitude of 2800 metres where we prepare our diner and set up camp with tents provided.
 
Day 2: 2800 metres – Summit – Sa Pa Town (B/L/D):
 

Start at 7am. On our trek to Mt. Fansipan you will enjoy spectacular scenery with magnificent and unique views. Reaching the summit at 11am you will have a spectacular view over Lao Cai Province, Sa Pa town and towards China to the east or Laos to the west. In the afternoon you will arrive at Sin Chai Village home to H’mong minority people. Travel back to Sa Pa by car.

Day 3: Explore Muong Hoa Valley – Sapa Town – Lao cai train – Hanoi (B/L/):
 

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then start a short journey of 20 minutes by car takes you to Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Viet Nam. Descending into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sa Pa area (If you visit the valley between May and October, there is a chance to experience and observe how the locals plant and harvest rice). The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of the Zay minority, providing the opportunity to see the different traditions and costumes of the two ethnic minority groups. Return to Sa Pa by car..You can stroll around the little town of Sapa until the transfer back to Lao Cai station and take the train journey back to Hanoi.
