Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Saigon
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel for a relaxing free evening.

Day 2: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Tay Ninh (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, you travel outside of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime. Next you will visit the beautiful Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh and partake in the noontime prayer service. This large and colorful compound is home to the hybrid religion founded in the 1920s: Caodaism, which combines elements of Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in order to promote peace. Have lunch in Tay Ninh and return to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho (B/L)
8:00 Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer by car to My Tho to board a motorboat and travel along the Bao Dinh canal lined with stilt-houses and fruit plantations. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market and Turtle Island then eat lunch served in the heart of an orchard. Relax and enjoy the boat ride through Tan Tach canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of water coconut trees. Visit family businesses and learn about the agricultural lifestyle. Walk through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island and take rowboats along the various creeks before returning to My Tho by rowboat. Car transfer to Can Tho and check in to your hotel.

Day 4: Cai Rang – Ho Chi Minh – Nha Trang (B/L)
After breakfast, take a morning boat to visit the bustling Phong Dien floating market and cruise through the intricate network of small channels to a village specializing in making rice noodles;, see the Delta's delicate "monkey bridges" and visit another floating market in Cai Rang. Break for lunch in Cai Rang then drive back to Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City to catch the late afternoon flight to Nha Trang. Our representative will meet you when you arrive in Nha Trang to take you to your hotel for a free evening.

Day 5: Nha Trang city and boat trip to Islands (B/L)
AM: City tour of Nha Trang including the Po Nagar Cham tower and Long Son Pagoda. Have lunch at restaurant.
PM: Boat trip to visit Tam and Mun Islands.

Day 6: Nha Trang – Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)
Depart Nha Trang on the morning flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang you will be met at the airport by our representative and driven in a private car to Hoi An, stopping at the Cham Museum in Da Nang and Marble Mountain along the way. Check in at your hotel in Hoi An and have lunch at rétaurant, then take a walking tour of the ancient town center and visit historic merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese covered bridge and the colorful, bustling market.

Day 7: Hoi An – Hue (B/L)
AM: Drive from Hoi An to Hue across the famous Hai Van pass and stopping to visit Lang Co beach. Have lunch after checking in hotel in Hue
PM: Visit the Hue Royal Citadel constructed by Emperor Gia Long after the style of French military architect Vauban in the first decades of the 19th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Imperial Museum that houses many valuable artefacts related to the Imperial city before leaving to see the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh.

Day 8: Hue tour – Hanoi (B/L)
AM: Enjoy a boat trip along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Emperor Minh Mang's tomb and Hue's famous Dong Ba market. Lunch at local restaurant
PM: Take afternoon flight to Hanoi, upon arrival, you will be met and taken to your hotel for a relaxing free evening.

Day 9: Hanoi City tour (B/L)
AM: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the One-pillar pagoda near historic Ba Dinh Square, then move on to the Temple of Literature UNESCO World Heritage site, the first University in Vietnam established in 1076. Have lunch in one of Hanoi's famous restaurants then visit the Museum of Ethnology and take a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter, visiting Dong Xuan market. Enjoy the fascinating and uniquely Vietnamese art of water puppetry later in the afternoon.

Day 10: Hanoi – Visit Ha Long Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay - Share Group (B/L/D)
7:45: Hotel pick-up in Hanoi Old quarter
12:30: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbour, Ha Long City.
12:45: Enjoy a welcome drink onboard the Tonkin Cruise boat.
13:15: Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay and into Ha Long Bay.
15:40: Visit Vung Ha beach for kayaking, swimming, and relaxing in one of the Bay’s hidden coves.
17:00: Relax back at the boat as we cruise into the secluded Dong Tien Lake where the boat will anchor overnight.
17:30: Sunset party and happy hour on the sundeck.
18:00: Cooking class offering lessons in traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
19:30: Barbeque dinner on the sundeck.
20:45: Relax and enjoy the evening or choose from a variety of activities including board games and squid fishing.

Day 11 : Explore in Dong Tien Lake – Vung Vieng Fishing Village (B/L)
6: 30: Rise early for morning tai chi on the sundeck.
7:15: Enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to Vung Vien fishing village.
8:30: Explore Vung Vien village and learn about life in Ha Long Bay communities.
10:00: Return to the boat for check out.
10:30: Enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over brunch as the boat cruises back to shore.
12:00 Transfer back to Hanoi.
Check in at the hotel and have the evening free.
