Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival
 
Activities: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh city , check-in hotel and relax
 
Welcome at the airport by TOM Travel guide and transfer to your hotel for check in.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)

 
Activities: Visit Cu Chi Tunnel and sightseeing within the city: Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh
 
This morning we will leave the city by private vehicle to visit the amazing tunnel network of Cu Chi. This incredible system, covering almost 250km in length was shelter to over 16,000 Vietcong guerrillas during the wars. Initially started in 1948 to against the French air and ground sweeps, the network were then served communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese fighters throughout American war. If interested in you can even descend into the tunnels to learn more about the harsh conditions faced by Vietcong guerrillas who lived here. Return to the city centre for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon set out to tour of the former capital of French Indochina. Historic landmarks include the Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Continue our visiting at the Reunification Palace used to be the headquarters of Saigon Government during American war in 60s. Round off your day by a visit to Ben Thanh Market. Dinner on your own.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Can Tho – Take Bassac Cruise (Share group). O/n in Cruise (B/L/D)
 
Activities: Leave Ho Chi Minh City and visit Mekong Delta

 
Am: At 8:00 am, in the morning, TOM Travel driver picks you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfers you to Can Tho.
On arrival Can Tho, boarding at Can Tho at Ninh Kieu Pier. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Then the cruise will depart downstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route.
Pm: After lunch, you will start the tour near Tra On Floating Market and turn into Nicolai Canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien Rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. Then visit a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River towards her anchorage point for the night. The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit. Overnight on board .

Day 4: Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh. O/n in Ho Chi Minh (B)
 
Activities: Explore the floating market

 
Am: At 06.30am, you will depart towards Cai Be. Have your breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the banks.The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. Arrival in Cai Be, check-out and boarding of a local boat for a tour of Cai Be Floating Market and handicraft. Free to have your own lunch.
Pm: Then you get transferred to Ho Chi Minh City. Tour ends at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City - > Hanoi City Tour - Night Train to Sapa (B/L)
 
Activities: Visit the city and take the night train to Lao Cai
 
Today you have breakfast at the hotel then our guide and driver will transfer you go the airport to flight to Hanoi capital . Welcome on arrival and transfer to the city for check in.after that will enjoy a sightseeing tour with city’s most highlighted sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his traditional stilt house, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple Of Literature - the first University of Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum which is widely considered to be the finest modern museum in Vietnam and a tourist attraction in Hanoi to learn about culture of 54 ethnic groups in the country. Come back to the hotel for shower & Dinner on your own. before driver come to pick you up to go to Hanoi station.

Day 6: Lao cai - Sa Pa – Sa Pa – Love Waterfall & Muong Hoa valley( B/L) :

 
Activities: Visit ethnic minority village of Lao Chai and Ta Van , Love waterfall, Tram Ton Pass
 
Arrive Lao Cai you will meet your local tour guide then drive uphill to Sa Pa. Check in to your hotel and enjoy breakfast. A 40 minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2047 meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam) where great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek 30 minutes through forest. Along the way you have many chances to see wild flowers. Trekking along the stream you will arrive the Love Waterfall . It is the best place for relax in Sa Pa then return Tram Ton and drive back to Sa Pa.
Have lunch at the local restaurant
In the afternoon you will visit Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Viet Nam. Descending into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sa Pa area (If you visit the valley between May and October, there is a chance to experience and observe how the locals plant and harvest rice). The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of the Zay minority, providing the opportunity to see the different traditions and costumes of the two ethnic minority groups.Return to Sa Pa by car.

Day 7 Sunday :Sa Pa – Bac Ha Hill Tribe Market- Buffalo Cart Tour – Lao Cai - Hanoi (B/L)
 
Activities: Visit the Hill Tribe market , Buffalo Cart ride, Boat trip, and take night train back Hanoi
 

Leaving Sapa in the morning, we travel by car to Bac Ha Market Arriving at Bac Ha, we visit the big outdoor market with its colorful ethnic minority people, such as Flower Hmong, Phu La and Dao Tuyen, who gather here to buy and sell their handicraft products. After visiting the market, you will enjoy lunch at a restaurant. We leave Bac Ha Market for Trung Do Village, where we will enjoy a magical water buffalo cart ride while traveling through amazing countryside inhabited by the happy and hospitable Tay minority people. From the village we will travel by boat down the Chay River to experience the picturesque scenery and magnificent sights along the river. After the boat trip we will enjoy a refreshing cup of tea before our driver transports you to Lao Cai station to catch the night train back to Ha Noi.
 
Overnight in an AC soft sleeper cabin. Arrive Hanoi next morning (around 05:30 in Hanoi).

Day 8 : Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D):
 
Today your train will arrival Hanoi around 5:30 AM , TOM Travel staff and driver will waiting you at the station to pick you up then transfer to the hotel for freshen up and have breakfast before depart to Ha Long Bay.
 
Activities: Leave for Halong Bay for night cruise

 
Guide & driver will come to pick you up at the hotel then leave for Halong bay, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin where will offer you numerous of chances to take the pictures(180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving). After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner served on boat. Overnight on board.

Day 9 : Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L/):
 
Activities: Further exploration Halong Bay and transfer back Hanoi
 
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy aquamarine water of the bay at its best. After tea break, the boat continues to cruise quietly through spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Return to Halong harbor and transfer to Hanoi for hotel check in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Hanoi – Departure (B/):
 
Activities: Further exploration Hanoi on your own, farewell Vietnam
 
This last day you will have free time to discover more about Hanoi by yourself. You can do anything that you missed in the previous day, go shopping, go sightseeing or simple relax before your transfer to Hanoi's Airport for onward flight. Room is at your disposal until noontime only. Meals on your own.
